CALYPSO CRUISE 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT – A TIMELESS EXPERIENCE IN LAN HA BAY
The myth of Calypso has been imprinted into Calypso Cruises. The boat has 20 finely equipped luxury cabins with expansive views of Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay. The restaurant on board features a feast for the senses, and the panoramic sundeck allows different activities while you marvel at the beauty of the hundreds of sheer, karst towers topped with lush jungle. DAY 1: HANOI – HAI PHONG – HALONG BAY – LAN HA BAY 9:00 – 9:30: Pick up from your hotel in the Old Quarter and drive 2.5 hours Got Harbor, the gateway to to Halong Bay. 12:00 – 12:30: Arrive at Got Harbor in Hai Phong Province and board the Calypso Cruise boat. You’ll receive a welcome Halong “mocktail” while you’re given a cruise briefing and safety instructions. Then check into your cabin before enjoying a bon appetite lunch while taking in the beauty of hundreds of karst islands as we pass through Halong Bay on our way to Lan Ha Bay. 15:00: Visit Light and Dark Water Cave. Enjoy some free time kayaking or take a trip on a bamboo boat rowed by local people. 17:30: Return to Calypso Cruise. It’s time to admire the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin and enjoy happy hour (buy two, get one free). Take part in cooking demonstration by our chef and learn about how to prepare Vietnamese cuisine. 19:00: A great dinner awaits you. 20:30: You’ll have free time to enjoy the landscapes of Lan Ha Bay on the top deck, sing karaoke, enjoy ordered drinks from the bar, try your luck at squid fishing or just relax in your cabin. Overnight on board the Calypso Cruise. DAY 2: LAN HA BAY – CAT BA ISLAND – HANOI (B, L) 6:30: Wake up early to enjoy the dawn and start a perfect new day with tai chi exercise on the sundeck. 7:00 – 9:00: Have a light breakfast in the restaurant. 9:00: Check-out of the room and settle any bills. We arrive at Cat Ba Island and take a 20-minute bus trip from Gia Luan Pier to visit Army Hospital Cave, a special place to learn about Vietnamese history during the resistance war. During the excursion, you will be immersed in the wild fresh natural scenery of Cat Ba National Park. 10:30: Back to Calypso Cruise. Enjoy lunch while the boat returns to the harbor. 12:00: Disembark and return to Hanoi. 14:30 – 15:00: Arrive in Hanoi. End of trip.
