 3 Days - 2 Nights Lan Ha Bay



3 DAYS – 2 NIGHTS ON LAN HA BAY - 3 stars

First Day: Hanoi - Halong Bay/Lan Ha Bay - Cat Ba Island (Meals: L, D)

7:00 - 7:30 am: Pick up from your hotel in the Old Quarter and drive to Halong City. Take a stretch break along the way.
12:30 - 1:00 pm: Arrive in Beo Harbor and transfer to the cruise boat. Receive an overview of the cruise and a safety briefing, then check into your cabin. 
1:00 - 2:30: Sail past the dramatic limestone islands as you enjoy a special lunch of Vietnamese cuisine and fresh seafood. 
2:30 - 4:30: The boat sails past hundreds of extraordinary uninhabited islands and rocky outcrops as it makes its way through Lan Ha Bay to the Cua Van area. Kayaking in Lan Ha Bay. 
4:30 - 6:00: Jump from the top of the boat into the water for some time in the clean waters of Lan Ha Bay.
6:00 - 7:00: Return to the boat for a cooking class where you'll prepare fresh Vietnamese spring rolls. 
7:00 - 8:00: Dinner in the restaurant will be a delicious Vietnamese dinner prepared with local food prepared by our onboard catering staff.
8:00 - 9:00: Happy Hour with free fresh local beer and drinks on the sundeck. You can try your hand at squid fishing or singing karaoke, or just enjoy a romantic evening. 
9:00: Overnight aboard the boat. 

Second day: Lan Ha Bay - Cat Ba Island (Meals: B, L, D)

6:00 - 7:00 am: Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the beautiful landscape. Prepare your daypack for a full day of bicycling and trekking (something warm and dry to wear, trousers, swim suit, sun lotion, sunglasses, camera...)
7:00 - 8:00: Breakfast in the restaurant.
8:00 - 11:00: Bicycle 5 kilometers to Viet Hai Village, a small hamlet tucked away in the jungle, surrounded by the high mountains of Cat Ba National Park. 
11:00 - 4:00 pm: Lunch in a local restaurant in Viet Hai Village, then visit Navy Peak in Cat Ba National Park, famous for its beautiful vistas of the jungle and the sea. We'll trek around the mountains and return to the boat tired but happy.
7:00 - 8:00: Enjoy a Vietnamese dinner in the restaurant.
8:00 - 9:00: Happy Hour on the sundeck with free fresh local beer and drinks. You can try your hand at squid fishing, sing karaoke, or just enjoy a romantic evening on the boat.
9:00: Overnight aboard the boat. 

Third day: Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi (Meals: B, L)
6:00 - 8:00 am: Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the beautiful landscape. 
8:00 - 9:30: Breakfast in the restaurant, then enjoy the views as the boat heads back to the harbor. 
9:30 - 11:30: Check out the room and settle any bills. Enjoy the scenery and relax. 
11:30 - 12:00 pm: Lunch will be served in the restaurant. 
12:00 - 4:30: Disembark at Beo Harbor and transfer to the bus for the return trip to Hanoi. You should be back at your hotel around 4:30 pm.

+ Some cash in Vietnamese Dong or USD for personal expenses
+ Sunblock or insect repellent
+ Sport shoes and swim suit
+ Warm clothes [from Dec til March]

+ Pack lightly, keeping most of your luggage at your hotel

+ Itinerary is subject to change upon weather conditions
+ Doctor and pharmacy are not available on the boat.
+ We arrive back in Hanoi between 4:30 and 5:00 pm. If you have to catch a flight, bus or train later in the evening, contact us so that we may assist you with your schedule and transportation choices.
