We are pleased to welcome you to our home for an authentic Vietnamese experience. My family consists of myself (Perfume), my two children, a cheerful toy poodle and a cuddly cat. Please read on for more information about our homestay.
Our small six-room homestay is located in the heart of Hanoi's historic Old Quarter. We’re steps away from the busy Old Quarter streets, Food Street, Hanoi Train Street, and some of the best sites and restaurants in Hanoi. You can easily walk to the shores of beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake (Sword Lake), the cultural heart of Hanoi. Visit the water puppet theater, the famous Dong Xuan market, the Ma May Ancient House, Lenin Park, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, and so much more, all within minutes of our homestay. This is our neighborhood.
Our homestay is unique. We came to Hanoi from the countryside nearly twenty years ago and opened our first little guesthouse; now we have a newer and nicer building in a neighborhood that we love. We've become a part Hanoi’s busy city life, yet we've kept our countryside values and traditions. Everyone is welcome at our home and no one is ever hungry. At Hanoi Family Homestay, you are not just a tourist, you are a family friend. This is how we run our homestay and we invite you to experience Hanoi with us from a very local point of view.
When you stay in one of our spacious, comfortable rooms, you will have everything you need - a private bathroom with complimentary toiletries, air conditioning and heat, color cable television, wireless internet, and more. Deluxe rooms are well furnished, with king-size beds and a sitting area. Our family rooms, perfect for three or four people, and offer a choice of bed configurations. Children are always welcome here! All rooms include Hanoi Family Homestay’s genuine hospitality. In the morning, we'll prepare a fresh and hearty breakfast for you - your choice of Vietnamese or Western. The real treat, though, is in the evening, when we may invite you to share our dinner! Enjoy traditional Vietnamese food with our family and guests in a busy and festive atmosphere.
We offer transportation from the train or bus station when you arrive in Hanoi. Just let us know your arrival details and we’ll be waiting for you. If you are coming by air, we will make sure that you are met in the arrival hall and take you by private car to our homestay. Our airport shuttle costs less than a taxi and you are assured of a hassle-free journey.
